Lin, Jen-Kun was born on December 4, 1935 in Chia-Yi, Taiwan, Republic of China.


Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, National Taiwan University, 1958. Master of Science in Biochemistry, National Taiwan University, 1961. Doctor of Philosophy in Oncology, University Wisconsin, Madison, 1968.


Member faculty National Taiwan University, Taipei, Republic of China, since 1962, professor biochemistry, since 1973. Research associate University Wisconsin-Madison, 1968-1969, visiting professor, Forgaty International fellow, 1975-1976. Visiting scientist Laboratory Molecular Oncology, National Cancer Institute-National Institutes of Health, Frederick, Maryland, 1984.
