Dr. Wang obtained MD in Taiwan in 1994, master degree (focusing on cytogenetic study of ovarian cancer) in 1997 and Ph.D. degree (studying a metastasis suppressor gene for prostate cancer) in 2003 at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Wang obtained clinical cytogenetics fellowship at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital (University of British Columbia) in 2005 in Vancouver, Canada, and molecular genetics fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children (University of Toronto) in 2009 in Toronto. Dr. Wang worked as the Head of Cytogenetics in the Hamilton Health Science, and an assistant professor at McMaster University from 2005-2011 in Hamilton, Canada (promoted to an associate professor in 2011). He relocated to Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute in San Juan Capistrano, California, and obtained the California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License and New York Cytogenetics Laboratory Director License.
