Joanne Patti Munisteri aka Jo Patti was born in the USA, but was moved during her childhood and worked in a number of different countries throughout her life. She was a US High School National Champion in debate, extemporaneous speaking and National Student Congress, graduated from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, Circle in the Square Professional Drama School in New York and Massey University for Graduate school in Education, Health studies in New Zealand. She served as a teacher, High School Principal, Head of Department, Coordinator for University departments, Teacher trainer, curriculum designer, monitor and assessor, adviser to Ministries of Education in a number of countries including: United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Russia, Borneo, Malaysia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Russia. She worked and lived in all the above countries as well as in Australia, Canada, Belize, Guatemala, the UK, Jordan, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, Morocco, New Zealand, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia. Ukraine, Norway, Northern Ireland, Italy, China and Ascension Island. She is a qualified Third Class Radio Engineer, HTS DOD Combat Analyst and TCM Health practitioner.
Joanne's technical writing has been published (in English) in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Russia and Iraq and online. Her poetry is published in the USA, Australia, New Zealand in journals, magazines, anthologies and online. She writes her personal creative fiction, prose and poetry under the name Jo Patti. Her first non-fiction book, "Getting Off the X" received excellent reviews and is part of a trilogy.
