Career
In 1730 he was admitted a "disciple" of the bardic chair of Glamorgan, in which chair he himself presided in 1750. Some of his poems, "moral pieces of great merit," according to Doctor Owen Pughe, were printed in a contemporary Welsh periodical entitled the Eurgrawn.
