Career
Doctor McDevitt was the Superintendent of Schools in Waltham, Massachusetts from 1942 to 1960. The School Street Middle School was named after him in Waltham. In 1998 after his death the Delegates at the Supreme Council meeting established a scholarship fund in his name.
