Career
From 1964 to 1968 Margolies worked as an assistant editor of Architectural Record. From 1969 to 1970 Margolies was a resident thinker at the American Federation of Arts in New York City, New York, United States. In 1972 Margolies was a visiting instructor at the University of California in Santa Barbara, California, United States.
In addition to still photography, Margolies worked on commercial television productions and produced several videotapes: Telethon: The Television Environment (projected photographs and videotape collage), House Tour (black-and- white, 1974), and Resorts of the Catskills (color, 1977).
