Career
He turned professional in 1981. Morse began his career playing in tournaments in and around Michigan. He later played on the Florida Tour, the Professional Golf Association Tour of Australasia, the European Tour and the Nike Tour (now called the Nationwide Tour).
He earned his Professional Golf Association Tour card by finishing fifth on the 1993 Nationwide Tour money list, and joined the Professional Golf Association Tour in 1994 at the age of 35.
Morse was known for using very heavy golf clubs, much heavier than his contemporaries. His best finish in a major championship is a solo 4th at the 1996 United States. Open.
Morse joined the Champions Tour in 2008. His best finish was T-3 at the 2008 American Telephone & Telegraph Company Championship.
Morse was inducted into the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in 2006.
