Career
After curacies in Harrogate and Bramley he was Vicar of Street Mary, Harrogate from 1972 to 1978. Then Street Mary with Street David, Beeston until 1992. He was Ecumenical Officer for Leeds from 1980 to 1986.
Rural Dean of Armley from 1986 to 1992.
And an Honorary Canon of Ripon Cathedral from 1987 to 1992.
