John P Stephenson born in Lancashire, 14/01/1957, the youngest son of Harold Park Stephenson and Norma (née Stocks). 3 brothers - Paul David, Peter Anthony, Harold Park (Bill), and 1 sister Pamela Ann (Silvey).
By 1961 the family were living in Hale, Cheshire and John’s Primary School education was supplemented with Cubs training.
By the 70’s the family were living in Grimsby and John was enjoying school life at the innovative local Comprehensive. He had moved onto the scouts, was working at a local stables and was swimming and diving at the local dolphins club.
