Rorick, John C. was born on February 13, 1834 in near Elmira, New York, United States. Son of William and Phoebe Ann (Breese) Rorick.

Graduate commercial college, Detroit, 1854.

Career

Became owner of 12 farms in Ohio, and others in Indiana, Iowa, Kansas and Michigan. Now member White & Rorick, grocers. President Grayson Telephone –°ompany, Sherman and Denison, Texas.

Patentee of various inventions. Appointed member State Board of Equalization by Governor Foster, 1881. Member Ohio Senate, 2 terms, 1891-1895.
