United States Vols., June 18, 1863-October 13, 1864. Served in campaigns of Perryville, Stone River Tullahoma, Chattanooga and Chickamauga with Western armies, and in General Grant’s campaign with Army of Potomac. Severely wounded, Shady Grove, Virginia, May, 1864.
