Career

Admitted to Tennessee bar, 1881. Member Green & Shields, 1894-1903, Green Webb & Tate, 1910-1918, Green, Webb & Cowan, 1910-1923, Green, Webb & Bass, 1925-1936, Green, Webb, Bass & McCampbell since 1936. Appointed special judge Supreme Court, Tennessee, for 3d time, 1936.

Special judge Court of Civil Appeals, 1916.

Appointed, 1941, by United States District Judge for East Tennessee member Rules Committee for this district. Appointed 1936, by Governor McAllister member, representing state of Tennessee, on Committee for Arranging Celebration of 150th Anniversary of Constitution of the United States.
