Career

Ordained ministry Missionary Baptist Church, 1905. Pastor Baptist Tabernacle, New Bern, North Carolina, 1907-1909. Assistant pastor Baptist Tabernacle, Atlanta, 1910-1912.

Evangelist, 1913-1915. Pastor Tabernacle Church, Atlanta, 1917-1924 (membership increased to 3,250 and S.S. to 2,500). President Atlanta Bible Conference, 1918-1924.

In evangelistic work on nation-wide basis since 1924. Also widely known as speaker on nat. and international questions.
