Research engineer East. Jersey Water Company, looking after construction of 4 reservoirs and dams on Pequannock watershed, 1890-1892. Principal assistant engineer, same company, in charge Passaic Water Company, Paterson, and also engineer Montclair Water Company and Acquackanonk Water Company, of Passaic, 1892-1900.
Chief engineer East. Jersey Water Company, 1900-1903. Chief engineer aqueduct commissioner of New York, 1903-1905.
Completed construction of new Croton dam (largest masonry dam in the world).
