2d, David, Panama, 1899, Josefa Jovane. Left New York 1869 and returned to Panama, becoming connected with all of the activities of his father, from which he has never been separated. Largely engaged in raising cattle, mules and horses, and exporting to Costa Rica.
Still owns some of the largest herds in Panama.
Also has other large interests. Colonel of Colombia, senator 2 terms, governor of Panama when it belonged to Colombia.
Since Independence of November 3, 1903, Second vice president of the Republic and East. East. and M. P. of Panama to the United States Moderate Catholic. Conservative in politics.
