Made intelligence officer in Colonel Stewart’s column of J.M.R.
Joined General Hamilton’s column. Assisted in capture of General C. Emmett. Companion of the Distinguished Service Order 1902; farmer.
Spouse 1904, Clarissa,daughter of Henry M. Meek of Wakkerstroom District, Natal.
