Career

Admitted to Louisiana bar, 1897, and practiced in Ruston until 1917, then moved to New Orleans. Organized Hodge Ship Company, Moss Point, Mississippi, and was executive secretary for 2 years. Moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, 1922, and resumed practice of law, senior member Barksdale, Bullock, Clark & Van Hook, Shreveport (firm dissolved January 1942), and Barksdale & Barksdale, Ruston.

Removed to Ruston, 1942, to practice as member firm of Barksdale & Barksdale.
