Research in design and evaluation of different sample introduction systems in atomic spectrometry techniques: inductively coupled plasma - mass spectrometry/atomic emission spectrometry, atomic absorption, etc. Research in design of new methodologies for the analysis of polymers and enviromental samples (waters, soils, etc) by atomic spectrometry techniques.

    Research in interferences due to inorganic acids, salts and organic solvents in inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and optical emission spectrometry.
