Eglington received a diploma from the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montreal (1961) and later attended film school at Simon Frazer University in Vancouver, Canada (1969-71).
The self-employed photographer received Canada Council Arts Photography Bursaries in 1969, 1970 and 1971; a Canadian Film Development Grant in 1972 and 1973; Donner Foundation video grants in 1971 and 1972 and Quebec Arts grants in 1961 and 1962.
Her theatrical films include: Masks 1972, Kimi 1973, Stallers Farm, 1977; View, 1977; The Dance, 1975/76; Earth Visions, 1974; Short Strokes, 1974; Help, 1973; Here’s to You, 1973; and the documentary Barrier Free Housing, 1979.
