Overview: Holme Roberts & Owen LLP was founded in 1898, only 40 years after Denver's birth, by two experienced litigators whose primary clients were railroad and mining companies. Today the firm still represents such interests, among them Southern Pacific Railroad and Newmont Gold Company, but now its lawyers number 180 or more and its clients also include local and national leaders in such industries as telecommunications, banking, corporate finance, health care, electronics and oil and gas.
