Julia Timonina

Career

She holds a law degree from the Moscow State Law Academy. After turning down recruitment as a professional volleyball player, Julia began her career modeling at age 14. She modeled full-time internationally for 13 years, while living and working in Paris and Japan for ELITE. In 2008, producer Igor Matvienko cast Julia as a singer of the famous Russian girl band Mobilnye Blondinki.

She, along with Mariya Kiseleva, finalized the group"s lineup.

Timonina has also starred in several Mobilnye Blondinki music videos. Julia appears as the celebrity spokesmodel for various television programs in Russia including appearances as the current celebrity model and co host for Pole Chudes, the popular Russian version of Wheel of Fortune.

Pole Chudes is the number one television program in Russia, now approaching it"s eleven hundredth episode in the 21st season of the show.

Achievements

• Julia Timonina has traveled around the globe as a fashion model and celebrity and has written about these experiences on her blog. Timonina graduated from the Vyacheslav Zaitsev Modeling School in modeling theory. She focused on her modeling career until 2001 when she began a law degree at the Moscow State Academy of Law. Julia Timonina postponed obtaining her law degree to focus on her career but graduated the university in 2010. She has studied interior design elements and practices it as a hobby. She is a fan of classic Russian literature and often shops at the Dom Knigi bookstore in her hometown. She is fluent in both Russian and English.

Membership

Julia starred in the reality television series about the band, first appearing in episode 20 of season 1 when she introduced herself to the existing members of the band. On October 21, 2010 it was announced that Julia, along with the other members of Mobilnye Blondinki, were releasing five new fragrances (one for each member) developed by a French perfumist specifically for the quintet.
