Julie Mayberry

Career

After four years in the state House, Andy Mayberry left the position to run unsuccessfully in 2014 for Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas. He lost the Republican primary election on May 20, 2014 to United States. Representative Tim Griffin of Arkansas"s 2nd congressional district. Mayberry holds a degree in Communications and Broadcast Journalism with a minor field in Theater from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.

She is a former president of the Little Rock South Lions International.

The Mayberrys own the Mayberry Advertising Agency and The East Ender newspaper in East End in Saline County. They previously produced the Christian publications, The Spirit of Saline County and The Spirit Magazine, distributed to residents without charge.

Mistress Mayberry is a former co-host in Little Rock of KATV-television"s Daybreak morning news program and is director of the "I CAN!" dance program for special-needs children.

Prior to her coming to Arkansas, Mayberry formerly lived in a half dozen cities in Florida, including Lake Worth.

Achievements

• Griffin then won the lieutenant governorship in the November 4 general election over the Democrat John Burkhalter.

Religion

God has made believers one in Christ, clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and uniquely qualified to stand together in faith.

The Mayberrys are members of East Union Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock.
