In 1927 he graduated from Electrical Engineering Department of Kyoto University.
Career
Junzo Kurimoto entered Kurimoto Tekkojo in 1927 and became its managing director in 1934, senior managing director and then president. Appointed chairman of the same company in 1951 and 2 years later was reappointed president.
He held additional posts of director of Keihan (Kyoto and Osaka) Electric Eailway Company, vice-president of Kansai Federation of Economic Organizations and Osaka Rotary Club, permanent director of Nikkeiren (Federation of Japan Employers' Associations), managing director of Kansai Keieisha Kyokai (Kansai Employers Association) and director of Federation of Economic Organizations and Osaka Kogyokai (Osaka Industry Society) and as official of a few other industrial organizations.
