Kleschev is the author of over 100 scientific papers on the subject of volleyball.

Died in Moscow on May 31, 2005.
He was buried in the Novodevichy Cemetery.
Senior coach of the men"s volleyball team of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics (1963-1969), which twice led to the title of Olympic champion (1964 and 1968), winner of the World Cup in 1965, European champion in 1967, bronze medalist of the World Cup 1969, World Cup 1966 and the European Championships in 1963.
