Graduated from Tokyo University (1921). Studied zootechny at Zootechnical Research Institute attached to Edinburg University, England and Kaiser Wilhelm Research Institute, Germany.
Career
Taught as professor at Miyazaki Higher Agricultural School and Agricultural Department of Kyushu University and thereafter became professor of Tohoku University.
His invention of “Formula for Discernment of Sex of newly-hatched Chikens” attracted special attention and was awarded the Imprial Invention Association Prize. Published numerous works on reproduction of folws including one on endocrine organism of testicles of chickens.
