Religion

People need not just to accept but also to grow in relationship with God. God's grace and love constantly prompts and seeks to transform people, and so they should continually seek and pray to grow in holiness and love.

Politics

The state should not attempt to control the church, nor should the church seek to dominate the state. The separation of church and state should not be misconstrued as the abolition of all religious expression from public life.

Views

The strong feature of Baptism is that prayers are not only led by a minister, but often by a local preacher - a lay person who has been trained and authorized to lead worship and preach.
