Served as managing director of Keihanshin (Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe) Kyuko Denki Tetsudo Kaisha (Keihanshin Express Electric Railway Company) and president of Tokyo Takarazuka Theater, Korakuen Stadium, president of Tokyo Kogyo Kaisha (Tokyo Entertainment Company).
Visited U.S.A. twice to inspect theater and motion picture industry (1915) and later accompanying a party of Takarazuka Girls' Operetta Troupe, made a barnstorming tour of that country (1937).
