Bolshevik.deleg at 5th Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Congress from Ivanovo-Voznesensk Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party organisation. Repeatedly arrested by Tsarist authorities. Shortly before 1917 October Revol, disagreeing with Party policy, left the Party.
Worked for Petrograd City Commissariat of Education. 1921 re-admitted to Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks). 1922-1929 admin work in Moscow.
From 1929 with Repertoire Committee, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic People's Commissariat of Education. Deputy director, Moscow Maly Theater. 1937-1939 worked for Arts Committee, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Council of People's Commissar.
From 1939 pensioner.
