Kao Ting-tse graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree from the National Peking University in 1921. He got his Master of Arts degree in 1923 and Doctor of Philosophy in 1926 from the Columbia University, New York.
Mr. Kao was a professor of Political Economy at the Chung Shan University, Canton, from 1927 to 1932. In 1932 he established Guangdong Morning Post and became its chief editor. The same year he became a senior secretary of the Ministry of Education in 1932. Since November 1932 Kao Ping-tse served as a director of Marine and Navigation, Ministry of Communications.
