After graduating from the University Kamcichiro Kashida served for awhile at the Military Hospital and then taught medicine at Peers School. In between he made a special study of nervous pathology, was conferred a doctorate (1910) and appointed to Bureau of Court Physicians (1910), in which capacity he made a medical checkup of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken.
Personality
Kamishiro Kashida had talent for writing and was well versed in German.
