Career
In 1934 he was commissioned an engineering sub-lieutenant. In the February 26 uprising, he played the part of assaulting Finance Minister Korekiyo Takahashi at his residence in Aoyama, Tokyo, together with Motoaki Nakahashi. After his troops killed the aged minister, he led them to the Asahi Shimbun office and damaged its printing plant, making it impossible to publisn the paper for some time. Then he called at other newspaper and news agency offices, distributing leaflets explaining the reasons of the young officer’s coup. He was executed the same year together with other young officers.
