Kate Palmer, American artist, sculptor, painter. Recipient 1st prize Land Enchantment Small Painting Exhibition, 1999, Ken Robert New Mexico Artist award, 1995.


Palmer, Kate was born on July 28, 1948 in Oklahoma City. Daughter of Gail Rodney and Barbara Belle (Warr) Palmer.


Student, University East Anglia, Norwich, England, 1968—1969. Bachelor in English Literature, Oklahoma City University, 1970. Bachelor in Art, Oklahoma City University, 1974.

Postgraduate, Art Students League, New York City, 1983—1984.


Owner painting and sculptural jewelry studio, Oklahoma City, 1975-1990, oil painting studio, Santa Fe, since 1990. Consultant in art restoration Mabee-Gerrer Museum, Shawnee, Oklahoma, 1985-1986.
