She has also worked on Freedom of Information requests and interviews in the United States for the biography of J. Edgar Hoover, American law enforcement administrator and the first Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States. Castle's areas of interest at London Metropolitan include quality control, teaching, the student experience, research and staff development.
