Education
Katsu Kaneko graduated from Geology Department of Science Faculty of Tokyo University (1928).
Career
In 1928 entered Kita Karafuto Sekiyu Kaisha (North Saghalien Petroleum Company). Katsu Kaneko entered Geology Research Institute of Mining Bureau of Commerce & Industry Ministry (1939). He appointed chief of Petroleum Section (1947), General Affairs Section (1947) and then director of Fuel Department (1949) of the same bureau. Became member of Nihon Kogyo Hyojun Chosakai (Japan Industry Standard Research Institute) (1953) and the same year assumed his present post. Holds additional posts of director of Sekiyu Gijutsu Kyokai (Petroleum Technique Association) and Japan Natural Gas Association.
