Katsue Kitazono graduated from the Economic Department of Chuo University.
Career
After making chronological study of surrealistic poems, joined the magazine Shi-to-Sliiron (Poem and Poetical Conception). In 1935, published the Magazine VOU. Katsue Kitazono attempted to keep in close contact with the avant-garde poets in the world and was a member of the association, New Directions. He attempted to show in his poems creation of nonfigurative and abstract world, shifting from surrealism.
