Holds additional posts：of the president of Ho- kurilcu Shimbun (Newspaper) and Tsugaru Seishi (Paper) Company since 1948, and director of Kanazawa Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Nihon Hyakkaten Kuraiai (Japan Department Store Union) and chairman of Hokuriku Department Store Association.
