Graduated from Matsuyama Middle School (1922).
Chief director of Matsuyama Motor and Sail Boat Transportation Union, member of Mitsugahama Town Assembly and Ehime Prefectural Assembly and secretary of Progressive Party. Elected twice to House of Representatives (1946 and 1949) and served as Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Transportation (1950-1951). President of Ehime Motor & Sail Boat Transportation Company, Ltd.
