Studied in U.S. and Germany during1930-1932. Was a student at Washington University and Eastman Music Academy in U.S. and pupil of Paul Hindemith at Berlin State Music School.
Composed music to the poem "An Extract From the New Testament" and "Revival," a cantata. Professor of Doshisha Women's College, Translations include "Decorative Tone" and "An Aesthetic Confession of A Certain Musician" by Kreutzer.
