After serving as director of a normal school and education inspector of the Ministry of Education, became a staff member of the Education Research Institute. Kazuo Kinoshita received the Doctor of Literature Degree (1945) for his study of Greek ethics. Appointed president of Tokyo Gakugei (Arts & Science) University (1950).
