Kazuo Shirakawa served as president of Shirakawa Hozensha, Shirakawa Seito Kaisha (Shirakawa Ceramics Company), Nagoya Goban Kaisha (Nagoya Veneer Board manufacturing Company) and Shirakawa Shoji Kaisha (Shirakawa Trading Company), director of Fukuhara Shoten Company and Kurimoto Tekkosho (Kurimoto Iron Plant) in Manchuria and official of several other industrial companies.
He became shokutaku (nonregular staff member) of Fuji Sangyo Kaisha (Fuji Industrial Company), successor of the old Nakajima Airplane Manufacturing Company (1950) and councilor (1950) and then president (1951) of Fuji Kogyo Kaisha (Fuji Industrial Company), Dai-ni Kaisha (second company or successor) of Fuji Sangyo Kaisha. Became vice-president of Fuji Jukogyo Kaisha (Fuji Heavy Industry Company) (since 1953).
