Career
He has represented The Netherlands’ national basketball team on many occasions. Akerboom junior Akerboom started his professional career with the same team as his father did, EiffelTowers Den Bosch in the Dutch Basketball League. He played three seasons in Den Bosch before he left for the MPC Capitals from Groningen.
Akerboom stayed two years in Groningen before he returned to his old team EiffelTowers.
