Keizo Nishida served as assistant engineer of Agriculture & Commerce Ministry, assistant engineer of Fisheries Institute and assistant engineer and then engineer of Fisheries Institute of Government-General of Korea, director of Fisheries Experimental Station (from 1935). Became professor of Fisheries and Stock Raising Department of Hiroshima University (since 1950).
