Education
Graduated from Tokyo Semmon Gakko (predecessor of Waseda University) and later made a tour of Europe.
Career
He was appointed manager for the Dojima Rice Exchange at Osaka (1887) and later joined the Mitsui Drapers Shop. He helped in founding the Kyodo Fire Insurance Company (1906). Was one-time director of Japan Steel Casting Company and many other firms, besides being a director for Japan Broadcastmg Association and vice-president of Osaka Chamber of Commerce.
