Career
Takeyama served with Eizen Kanzeikyoku (Reparations and Property Custodian Bureau) of Finance Ministry and then became engineer of same ministry in 1937. Later he was appointed engineer of Sensai Fukkoin (War Damage Rehabilitation Board) in 1945 and the same year received a doctorate in engineering. Kenzaburo acted also as director of the 3rd Department of Construction Research Institute of Construction Ministry. In 1950 he made inspection tour of the U.S.A.
