Khloé Alexandra Kardashian Edit Profile

model Businesswoman socialite

Khloé Kardashian is an American businesswoman, media personality, socialite, and model. Her claim to fame was her participation in her family’s real-life drama reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, along with her family. Together with her siblings, she also launched a boutique with jewelry and a clothing line. Khloe has also hosted a number of talk shows and endorsed a brand that sells environment-friendly products.

Background

Ethnicity: Khloé Kardashian’s father was of Armenian descent. Khloé’s mother is from a family that has lived in the United States for many generations, and has English, as well as smaller amounts (to varying degrees) of Scottish, Irish, German, and Dutch, ancestry.

Khloé Kardashian was born on June 27, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, the United States, to the late Robert Kardashian and his first wife, Kris Jenner. Khloé has three siblings, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian, who also are famous media personalities.

Her father, Robert Kardashian, gained national recognition as a member of O.J. Simpson’s legal team during his 1995 murder trial, and her mother, Kris, later served as her manager; after the couple divorced in 1989. After her parents divorced, her mother re-married Bruce Jenner (now referred to as Caitlyn), an athlete, the same year. She has two half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie, born out of her mother’s second marriage.

Khloé grew up under the glare and privilege of Beverly Hills, getting an up-close view of Hollywood's pleasures and pitfalls. Kardashian is proud of her Armenian and Scottish descent - though she doesn’t hold citizenship for either country.

Education

Khloé Kardashian attended Bel-Air Prep, Saint Martin of Tours School, Daniel Webster Middle School, A.E. Wright Middle School, and Montclair Prep. Later she attended the Roman Catholic, all-girls, Marymount High School in Los Angeles.

Due to insufferable bullying during her high school years, and started doing home school, she graduated with honors at the age of 17. Another reason she decided to leave school was that she felt herself going down the wrong path after her sisters graduated, and she didn't want to get mixed up with the wrong crowd.

Career

The reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians was launched in 2007. It features Khloe with her siblings, mother, and step-father Bruce. The show was a grand success and led to the subsequent spin-offs, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Khloe & Lamar which were equally successful.

The reality television show follows the exploits of Khloé and her family members, from their love lives and personal conflicts to their professional pursuits. Through the show, Khloé has developed a reputation for her quick wit and boisterous, unabashed honesty.

On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé is seen juggling several business ventures, including running a string of clothing stores called D-A-S-H with sisters Kourtney and Kim. The trio also designs swimwear and jewelry. Independent of her siblings, Khloé additionally designs clothing for QVC and Sears and has her hand in the PerfectSkin and QuickTrim product lines.

Since its inception, Keeping Up with the Kardashians has given rise to multiple spinoffs. The first, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, which debuted in 2009, recorded the sisters cutting loose while cohabitating in the Sunshine State. Perhaps partly as a result of the exposure, Khloé was invited to compete on Celebrity Apprentice that year.

On September 27 of that year, she married NBA Star Lamar Odom after the two had only been dating for a month. The wedding was captured on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but the marriage quickly spawned a reality show of its own, simply but aptly named Khloé and Lamar.

Among other topics relating to family and basketball, the show dealt with the couple's desire - and struggles - to have children. In 2011, Khloé dispelled rumors that she and Lamar planned to stop taping their show due to the NBA's disapproval. Odom's stats had in fact improved since the couple met. The final episode of the series aired in 2012.

Khloé and her siblings made their mark with the release of their book Kardashian Konfidential in 2010. The book is about the family affairs of the Kardashians. It also has tips for leading a meaningful life, accompanied by a host of glossy photographs. The following year, they released a novel titled Dollhouse, which is about growing up a celebrity. She also marketed two unisex fragrances called Unbreakable and Unbreakable Joy with her then-husband Odom.

In 2012, she launched a one-hour, commercial-free radio show called The Mix Up with Khloé Kardashian Odom. The show’s success landed Kardashian an opportunity to co-host the second season of the American version of X-Factor along with Mario Lopez. The year 2014 saw another spin-off of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons. This was followed by the talk show Kocktails with Khloe which was hosted by Khloé.

In 2015 she published a book titled Strong Looks Better Naked. In January 2017, Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian premiered on E! Kardashian serves as host on the makeover series. Kardashian became the brand ambassador of Burst Oral Care and performed a corn test using the brand’s electric toothbrush in December 2018.
