Kylie Jenner was born on August 10, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, the United States, to Bruce (now known as Caitlyn Jenner following a gender transition surgery) and Kris Jenner. Her father is a retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete, and both her parents are television personalities.

She is the youngest child in the extended family of her parents, including her step-siblings. Kylie has an older sister, Kendall, and several half-siblings: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob, from her mother’s first marriage to O.J. Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian and Burt, Brandon, Brody, and Casey from her father’s previous marriages.

Being the youngest of "the Kardashian clan," Kylie grew up in front of the cameras alongside her older sisters. Kylie grew up in Calabasas, California, and considers it her hometown.

Education

Jenner attended Sierra Canyon School, where she was a member of the cheerleading team. Jenner claims to have performed in plays while attending school, along with community plays. In 2012, she became homeschooled and enrolled in an at-home education program, from which she graduated with a high school diploma in July 2015 from Laurel Springs School in Ojai, California.

Career

Kylie Jenner started her on-screen career in 2007, appearing as the main cast in the family's popular reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The show was so successful, it led to a number of spinoffs for some of the siblings, all of whom have etched a place in pop culture history. With the success and public interest in the series and their lives, Jenner and her siblings have expanded their individual brands beyond reality television, earning millions through the lucrative world of celebrity endorsements.

Kylie started her modeling career featuring in Sears Crush Dream Commercial in August 2010. She also showed interest in pursuing a career in acting after completing her education. Kylie, and her elder sister, Kendall, together hosted Glee: The 3D Concert Movie at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, California on August 6, 2011. On March 12, 2012, they interviewed the cast of The Hunger Games at the Los Angeles, California premiere.

In 2011, she, following Kendall, earned a huge sum of money endorsing two nail lacquers from the Nicole by OPI brand, named Rainbow in the S-kylie and Wear Something Spar-kylie. Having launched in 2014, Kylie Cosmetics was put on the makeup map, by Kylie’s infamous Lip Kit, consisting of a matching liquid lipstick and lip liner to create the perfect Kylie pout.

Kylie’s never-before-seen concept disrupted the market and changed the face of the beauty industry forever. Kylie has since gone on to expand the collection into a full range of color cosmetics, including eyeshadow palettes, concealers, highlighters, blushes, accessories, and more, as well as becoming one of the most renowned and coveted cosmetics brands of 2018.

Forbes featured Jenner on a cover to highlight its annual "richest self-made women" list. Coming in at No. 27 with a net worth of $900 million - well ahead of famous big sister Kim, at $350 million - Jenner's fortune was attributed to her 100 percent ownership of the successful Kylie Cosmetics brand.

In March 2019 Jenner again was featured in Forbes as part of its annual ranking of the planet's richest people. With her net worth up to $1 billion, the 21-year-old became the youngest member of the billionaires' club and the youngest-ever self-made billionaire, surpassing the mark once set by 23-year-old Mark Zuckerberg. Showing no signs of slowing down, she went on to launch her Kylie Skin skincare line in May.

In November 2019 it was announced that fragrance and cosmetics giant Coty Inc. was set to purchase a 51 percent stake in Jenner's beauty business, for $600 million. Along with retaining 49 percent ownership, Jenner would continue to serve as a creative lead on product development and marketing initiatives for her brand. Much of Jenner's work on Kylie Cosmetics takes place on social media. She frequently promotes the brand on her personal Instagram account. Religion

To many, Kylie Jenner might not seem like an obviously religious person. Still, she was raised in a religious home. Reportedly, she attended church on a regular basis, along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family. Jenner goes to a non-denominational Christian church, known as the California Community Church, that her family helped found and which they support.

Kylie Jenner has been involved with a number of charities over the years. In 2013, she and her sisters raised money for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles by auctioning old clothes on eBay. Kylie began dating rapper, Tyga, in September 2014, following which she appeared in some of his music videos.
