Kiichi Toriyama was born in 1887 in Tokyo, Japan.

Education

Kiichi Toriyama graduated from Tokyo University (1911).

Career

Kiichi Toriyama became professor of Niigata Higher School (1919), professor of Keijo (Seoul) University (1928) and thereafter became dean of Literature Department of same university.

Following termination of war returned to Japan. He served as director of Fourth Higher School (from 1946), dean of Literature Department of Kanazawa University (from 1949), president of Toyama University and then was appointed professor of Тoуo University (1949).
