Kikuichiro Yamaguchi was elected seven times to House of Representatives; took a seat in the Third Yoshida Cabinet as State Minister (director of Reparations Agency) (1949). Headed a party of Diet members on an inspection tour of China (1954). He made a fortune by engaging in sale of lumber from Wakayama Prefecture.
