Career
Kovacs has a distinguished career in executive leadership and finance. She was on the board of Alpha Project in the 1990′s, securing over $50M in funding from HUD to preserve low income housing. At ORXYE Energy, as CFO and board member, she testified in Congress in concert with the EPA on clean energy regulations, assisted in bringing major oil companies into regulatory discussions and resolution that ultimately resulted in Hillary Clinton’s involvement and final adoption of the Clean Energy standards in the U.S.
In addition to her board seat for the National Coalition of Stock Planning Professionals (ACSPA) where she serves as Treasurer. Kovacs is currently on the board of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), in addition to being active in industry organizations such as FEI, FENG, and others. Kovacs is an active member of the Women Presidents Organization (WPO) and the Association of Women in Technology (AWT).
Recently, she launched an OptionEase-sponsored scholarship with the Certified Equity Professional Institute (CEPI) to promote the advancement of equity administration and compliance. The annual scholarship pays for an individual to receive full CEP certification. Kovacs also supports youth music programs, historical site preservation and green technology initiatives to name just a few.
