Kimiko Glenn was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where she grew up with her sister Amanda, and parents Mark and Sumiko, of Scottish-Irish-German and Japanese descent, respectively.

She attended Desert Vista High school.
Halfway through her freshman year of college at the Boston Conservatory, she was cast as Thea in the 1st National Tour of Spring Awakening. After touring for two years, she settled in New New York Glenn has also appeared in feature films Construction.

She has also appeared in the music video "I Wanna Get Better" by Bleachers.
In 2015, Glenn was cast as Dawn in the 2016 Broadway production of Waitress, with previews beginning on March 25 in the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. The show will officially open on April 24, 2016.
